HAMBURG

POEMS

The morning fog wraps Speicherstadt in its tight embrace,

as ships pass by and anchor down in the harbor’s safe space.

The strumming and picking of the philharmonic whips through the air, as seagulls cry,
and try,
to get a bite from a Fischbrötchen of a passerby.

The colorful houses of Karoviertel shimmer in the morning‘s tight embrace
And a fresh breeze blows into your face.

Cold and foggy on the outside,
but full of life and warmth if you get the angle right.
